Description
In the therapeutic world, sometimes less truly is more. Healing often arises not from doing more, but from doing differently—slowing down, listening deeply, and allowing the body’s innate intelligence to guide the process. This course invites practitioners into a refined approach to touch that emphasizes presence over pressure, curiosity over correction, and gentle support over force.
Cranio, Somatics, and the Whole Body integrates principles from both Upledger and Biodynamic craniosacral traditions, trauma-informed somatic practices such as Organic Intelligence©, and the collective healing approaches used in leading residential treatment centers. Through hands-on practice, guided observation, and embodied learning, participants will explore how subtle touch, attunement, and nervous system awareness can profoundly influence whole-body regulation and integration.
Students will learn to recognize and work with the body’s natural rhythms, protective responses, and expressions of the autonomic nervous system. By cultivating an attuned therapeutic presence and supporting the body’s inherent orientation toward balance, practitioners will gain tools to help clients experience greater ease, coherence, and well-being.
