About the Course
Take your fascia work beyond the fundamentals and develop a deeper understanding of how connective tissue influences movement, posture, and function.
This advanced, hands-on course explores the relationship between the fascial, muscular, and nervous systems and how these interconnected systems can influence the patterns you see and feel in your clients.
Students will learn to observe structure and movement more intentionally, recognize patterns of restriction and imbalance, and use those observations to develop thoughtful, individualized treatment strategies.
The course also explores areas that are frequently overlooked in traditional massage, including tight fascial compartments and joint capsules. Through guided hands-on practice, students will expand their connective tissue skills while developing greater confidence in when, where, and how to apply advanced fascial techniques safely and effectively.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe the key properties and characteristics of fascia
- Identify the composition and primary functions of connective tissue
- Differentiate the roles of muscle, myofascia, and other connective tissues in movement and postural patterns
- Evaluate structural and movement patterns to inform treatment
- Develop effective treatment strategies for common musculoskeletal conditions, restrictions, and injuries
- Demonstrate advanced connective tissue and fascial techniques to support mobility, function, and recovery
