Peter Bird & Melanie Eldridge
Melanie is an intuitive massage and bodywork therapist and educator with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in the Thai Healing Arts, including Reusi Dat Ton and Sound Bowl Therapy, with a background in a diverse array of eastern and western holistic body and energy work modalities. She creates organic herbal balms, liniments, and massage oils. She also teaches yin yoga and meditation. She worked as a lead therapist, trainer, and spa treatment developer at Miraval Tucson for over 18 years.
Peter has over 25 years of experience practicing and teaching Eastern modalities of bodywork, with specialization in Shiatsu and Thai massage. His intuitive approach helps students and clients understand, relate, and feel comfortable with the cultural differences of Eastern modalities. Insightful and inspiring, he helps people find the art of healing. He worked as a lead therapist and developer of Naga Thai Massage at Miraval Tucson for 11 years.
In 2016, Melanie and Peter co-founded Two Birds Thai Bodyworks, offering continuing education courses in the Thai healing arts, as well as courses on creating safe spaces and harnessing the power of intention and intuition for massage therapists, bodyworkers, and wellness spas. In 2020, they opened Two Birds Healing Arts Center in Grand Marais, MN, along the magical north shore of Lake Superior, where they live. NCBTMB #1450
