Description
Topical Application of Common and Exotic Herbs will cover 6 methods of topical herb application with detailed indications and contraindications.
Through lectures and demonstrations, participants will learn how to prepare and use herbal oils, salves, liniments, soaks, powders, and poultices. They will also learn 50+ herbs that are especially effective for topical application along with the diagnostic criteria necessary to select and apply these methods effectively. Students participating in the live class will receive notes, supplemental video links, and samples of the preparations made in class. There will be time for asking questions during and after the class. The use of topical herbs is a valuable adjunct to any body-based therapy. A variety of musculoskeletal injuries, skin, and nervous system problems can benefit from the right herbal application. Topical herb use is common within martial arts and bodywork circles.
